11 Metro Lines in the Turkish Capital of Ankara

The Mayor of Ankara, Melih Gokcak, said that the municipality’s plan of action includes the construction of 11 new metro lines and delivering the metro lines to the capital as part of the capital’s main transport project.

The Mayor pointed out that the plan prepared by the municipality, which runs from 2013 to 2018 will include the establishment of a wide network of metro lines, which will reach 600 kilometers.

A Leap in the Construction Sector in Turkey in May

The outcomes of the report by the Turkish Building Materials Manufacturers Association for the month of May 2017 indicate that the construction sector witnessed a qualitative leap during this month.

According to data issued in this context, there was an increase in the number of building permits obtained during this period, with an increase of 15% in number, 17.2% in area, 3.6% in value and 11.6% In terms of the number of apartments during the first quarter of the year.

Antalya to Establish a Second Airport on Its Land

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation in Turkey announced that it has agreed to grant the construction of an international airport in the district of “Gash” one of the most important tourist centers in the city of Antalya that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea in southern Turkey, to be the second international airport in the city.

Mega Projects Continue in Turkey

Rise in the Apartment’s Price Index by 13.34 Percent

The Central Bank of Turkey (CBK) announced the price index for March of 2017.
The statistics show an increase in the price index of apartments during the month of March compared to the past month by 1.12 percent, to 233.74 points. There was an increase of 13.34% compared to March of 2016.

The Turkish Ministry of Water and Forests presented its road map in the context of the government’s vision for 2023, as the Ministry submitted drafts during this period to the President of the Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
